Ethan Campbell has earned a B.A. in English Literature from Yale University, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College, and a Ph.D. in English from the City University of New York. His academic work has been published in the journals Fifteenth-Century Studies, Christianity and Literature, Mythlore, and Academic Questions. His book Teen Challenge: 50 Years of Miracles, published in 2008 (revised edition in 2012), chronicles the history of a successful faith-based addiction recovery program.
Prof. Campbell lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn, with his wife Alice and two children, Jonah and Madeleine.
