Ilyas Tasci takes over the Men’s Soccer program at The King’s College for the Fall of 2014. Coach Tasci has a wealth of coaching experience after serving as an assistant D1 coach at St. Peter’s University in Jersey City last season. Prior to that assignment he held assistant coaching positions at New Jersey City University, the City College of New York, River Dell High School and Paramus High School. Additionally, he has worked as a youth coach with the Ramapo Youth Soccer Association, First Shot Soccer Academy and currently with the NY Red Bulls Regional Development School. A 2008 graduate of Montclair State University with a B.S. in International Business and Management, Coach Tasci was a four year starter and led the team to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament and an NJAC League Championship in 2006. He is ranked 13th in the history of MSU Soccer with 26 goals. He played High School Soccer at Paramus High School and was awarded Player of the Decade honors by the Bergen Record in 2010. He scored a school record 63 Varsity goals in 3 years and was awarded Player of the year in 2002 along with All-State, All-County, and All-League selections for all three years.
