Price Harding Joins as Trustee

The Board of Trustees of The King’s College is pleased to announce the addition of Price Harding as a new member of the Board. Price Harding was elected at the Board’s annual meeting on October 16. He is the Founding Partner of CarterBaldwin Executive Search, one of the forty largest Executive Search firms in the U.S., based in Atlanta, Georgia.

NEW YORK — November 5, 2013 — The Board of Trustees of The King’s College is pleased to announce the addition of Price Harding as a new member of the Board. Price Harding was elected at the Board’s annual meeting on October 16. He is the Founding Partner of CarterBaldwin Executive Search, one of the forty largest Executive Search firms in the U.S., based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Chairman of the Board Andrew G. Mills said, “We are delighted to welcome Price to the Board. He comes with a vibrant faith, an entrepreneurial spirit, a deep knowledge of Higher Education, and expertise in organizational design and people management. He shares our ambition for the College, and I look forward to working with him to realize our vision.”

Harding has been the principal consultant on more than 300 successfully completed recruiting engagements for C-Level leadership, Officers, and Directors for privately held and publicly traded companies. Harding also leads CarterBaldwin’s rapidly growing university and non-profit search practice.

In addition to his responsibilities at CarterBaldwin, Harding is an avid venture capitalist and angel investor and serves on multiple private company boards. Additionally, he serves as Chairman of the Trinity Forum and is a member of the Duke University Divinity School’s Board of Visitors. His articles have appeared in various publications and he has been quoted in INC MagazineThe Wall Street JournalThe Atlanta Business Chronicle, as well as numerous industry and trade magazines.

Prior to entering the recruitment industry twenty five years ago, Harding served as Director of Manufacturing Operations for Astechnologies, an Atlanta-based company that produced hydraulic presses used in the manufacture of automotive headliners. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Baptist University of America and conducted Master’s level studies in Pastoral Counseling at Temple Baptist Seminary in Chattanooga.

In December 2012, The King’s College engaged the services of Harding and CarterBaldwin to lead the search for a new president. On July 11th, the Board of Trustees announced Dr. Gregory Alan Thornbury as the sixth president of The King’s College.
