Academic failure does not have to be the end of the story. Perhaps it's only the beginning of a bigger story God has for you to discover.

Academic failure does not have to be the end of the story. Perhaps it’s only the beginning of a bigger story God has for you to discover.

“Go talk to Dr. Bleattler,” is a sentence you’ll hear in a variety of contexts throughout King’s. If students are considering a major in MCA, want to know what MCA electives to anticipate, or if they want to know more about his unusual path to a calling to teach, Dr. Bleattler is known as a great resource.

As the first installment of our faculty series, “On Failure,” Dr. Bleattler shares about that unusual path to a Ph.D.

Dr. Henry Bleattler is the Program Chair for Media, Culture, and the Arts and Associate Professor of History and the Humanities. Dr. Bleattler has taught at King’s since 2004 and designed the Summer Study Abroad program which has taken students to study with King’s professors in Paris, Belgium and Berlin. Dr. Bleattler can be reached at hbleattler@tkc.edu.
