King’s welcomes author Andrew Klavan as part of Senior Fellows series
NEW YORK, March 9, 2009—The King’s College will welcome Andrew Klavan at 7 pm in Classroom 1 as part of the Senior Fellows speaker series. The event is open to the public.
Klavan is a New York City native and the author of more than 20 mystery and thriller novels, two of which, True Crime and Don’t Say A Word, have been made into major motion pictures. Klavan has four nominations and two Edgar Allan Poe Awards under his belt and is said by Stephen King to be “the most original American novelist of crime and suspense since Cornell Woolrich.” His most recent novel is a self-proclaimed “decidedly politically incorrect thriller” entitled Empire of Lies.
Senior Fellows welcomes renowned, over-50 professionals to speak with students in a question-and-answer format, moderated by King’s Provost and WORLD Editor-in-Chief Dr. Marvin Olasky. The class encourages students to think about their futures through exposure to a variety of accomplished professionals and leaders who enjoy their work.
The King’s College is located in the Empire State Building in New York City.
