The World Journalism Institute at The King's College Presents the New York College Journalism Conference
New York—On April 13-15 the World Journalism Institute (WJI) at The King's College will host its first National Journalism Conference. The conference is for aspiring college-age journalists of faith.
During Friday night’s opening event at the Harvard Club, Gay Talese will be the featured speaker. Talese has written for the New York Times and is the author of numerous books, including his most recent, A Writer's Life. The emcee for the evening will be FOX News anchor, Julian Phillips.
“Those who attend will be encouraged and challenged to integrate their Christian faith and journalism practice in a fashion appropriate for today's mainstream newsrooms. This conference provides a unique opportunity to interact with nationally known journalists and to meet other like-minded journalists,” said WJI Deputy Director, Kimberly Collins.
The King's College is a Christian liberal arts college located in the Empire State Building in New York City.
