On Friday the TKC Lions battled to a tough 1-3 loss to conference rival Albany Pharmacy at the host team’s Panther Invitational for Breast Cancer Awareness.

The TKC team continues to improve and did have several chances to score against the defending HVIAC conference champions, but it was not enough. Freshman Jacob Wright was outstanding in goal and kept the Lions within striking distance for the 90 minutes played in unseasonable heat and humidity. On Saturday TKC might have run out of a little bit of gas in the tank as they fell to New Hampshire Tech 1-5. The Lions wore pink tee shirts during their pregame warmup and were happy to present a donation check to Albany Pharmacy in their efforts to raise money for breast cancer research. The home team sold tee shirts and pizza to and received sponsorships from several local businesses in their effort to raise money for the worthy cause.

TKC will return to the practice field before hosting Fisher College (MA) next Saturday 9/13 at 6:00pm at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken.
