King's Joins Council for Christian Colleges & Universities

The King's College has joined the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) as an affiliate member. On July 26, the CCCU board of directors voted unanimously to accept King's application for membership in the council. As an affiliate member, King's has access to CCCU resources including listing staff and faculty career opportunities, access to conferences and events, and other programs and services.

First Bitcoin Donation Accepted

Last month, The King’s College announced that it would become the first accredited college in the United States to accept Bitcoin for tuition and donations. On Friday, July 18, The King’s College accepted its first Bitcoin donation.

Phillips Journalism Institute Launches

Journalism, at its core, is about factual reporting, artful storytelling, and boldly speaking truth to power —and these are things that will always be necessary. That is why The King’s College is proud to announce The Phillips Journalism Institute (phillipsjournalism.org), a program that will help college students become more skillful journalists while experiencing New York City.

David Dockery and Tim Dunn Named to Board of Trustees

The King’s College is proud to announce that David Dockery and Tim Dunn will join the Board of Trustees as its newest members.

Dr. David S. Dockery is the president of Trinity International University and a prolific author and lecturer who has served in key leadership roles at several Christian institutions. Mr. Tim Dunn is the CEO of CrownQuest Operating, LLC, EnerQuest Oil & Gas, Ltd., and is also a partner of Texas Land Royalty.

The King’s College Business Students Rank with Best in the World

A team from The King’s College defeated more than 1,760 business students worldwide to reach the finals in an international mockup of real-world business challenges, the Capsim Business Simulation Global Challenge in Chicago last month. They were one of only 12 teams to qualify for the 48-hour, high-pressure business simulation play-offs.

Thornbury Inaugurated as Sixth President of The King's College

In addition to full attendance by King’s faculty, staff, and students, countless friends and supporters showed up to mark both a return to the College’s roots and the start of a new era.

Bestselling Author Eric Metaxas Joins King's
