The King’s College Athletics is pleased to announce that a men’s rugby 7’s club has been formed.

This version of rugby is played with seven players per side and the game is just 14 minutes long (two 7-minute halves). This fast paced game will be played for the first time at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Our TKC team has been practicing for a couple of weeks and will resume training next week after students return from spring break.

Athletic Director Sean Horan is training the team. Coach Horan has extensive experience coaching and playing rugby. He played and coached for the prestigious New York City Old Blue R.F.C. He is now involved with the Northeast Rugby Olympic Development Academy.
