Wm. Lee Hanley, Jr. Elected Chairman

Wm. Lee Hanley, Jr. has been elected as the Chairman of the Board of The King’s College, succeeding the prior chairman Andrew G. Mills. A trustee of King’s since 2008, Mr. Hanley and his wife Allie, who also serves on the board, have been tireless advocates for the mission and vision of King’s.
In addition to his service at King’s, Mr. Hanley has served as an Officer and Board Member on a number of not-for-profit boards over the years, including Greenwich Hospital (CT) Chairman 1988 – 1991 and Trustee from 1979 – 1998; Founder of The Yankee Institute for Public Policy Studies (Hartford, CT) and Chairman of Yankee from 1991 – 2001; Chairman of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (Washington, D.C.) 1986 – 1987: Trustee of The Boys’ Club of New York from 1987 – 1992; Trustee Boys’ & Girls’ Club of Greenwich (CT) 1980 – 2000; Young Presidents Organization, Chairman Metro NY Chapter 1985-1986.

Mr. Hanley has five daughters, thirteen grandchildren and resides with his wife, Allie, in Florida.
