Bryan Finley came to The King’s College in 2012 to start the varsity women’s soccer program. The team advanced to the conference finals in 2013 and 2014, and earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Sportsmanship Award in 2012, 2013 and 2014. In 2014, he became the Assistant Athletic Director, and he was promoted to Athletic Director in 2016. Coach Finley helped form the Student Athlete Advisory Committee at King’s and currently oversees teams in nine sports. He is the volleyball chairman for the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Outside of King’s, Coach Finley coached women’s soccer at New Jersey City University from 2009-2011 and helped lead the team to their best seasons ever including a ranking of 24th in the nation in 2011. He also coached high school soccer, winter track and spring track at the Oak Knoll School in Summit, NJ. The spring track team won their conference and state championship in 2015. Coach Finley has coached club soccer in New Jersey at the U.S. PARMA Soccer Club, and presently with the Players Development Academy. His club teams have won several state cup championships and numerous tournaments.

Coach Finley resides in Ocean County, NJ. Before coming to King’s, he worked at Logo Knits, his family’s business, as well as at Price Waterhouse Coopers and Prudential. He has also worked for the Sky Blue FC women’s professional soccer team. When he is not on an athletic field, he enjoys reading, boating and fishing.
