Esther Jhun
Director of Counseling Services
Esther Jhun is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She comes to King’s with an array of experience in mental health therapy, including years of experience working with student populations. Most recently, she served as the supervisor for the counseling department for Nyack College (Manhattan). Additionally, she has worked with marginalized and mentally ill patients at a treatment program in Far Rockaway, New York, and with individual clients in private counseling practices.
Being a product of Christian liberal arts colleges – with a B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Wheaton College and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Nyack College – Esther feels at home working at King’s students. She is dedicated to serving the mental health needs of the King’s community.
