Michael Evers
Counselor

Mike Evers joined TKC in the spring of 2014 as a volunteer counselor. Mike comes to us from Cru, a para-church organization, where he worked with college students around the country and the globe. He lived in Brazil for three years, participated in multiple overseas summer missions, and understands first-hand cross-cultural adjustments. Mike is gifted in educating individuals in utilizing their emotions for deeper understanding and deepening a sense of self-compassion. Mike is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of New York and runs his own private practice in Midtown.
Though Mike grew up on the farm and had a wild burro named Jimmy as a pet, he loves living in Manhattan with his wife, Sarah, and their young daughter. He can’t imagine living anywhere else in the world right now.
