A ministry update from Andrew Mazzella (’80), Tricia Thomas (Elementary Education ’80) shares her upcoming concerts with the National Christian Choir, and notes on alumni who have recently passed away.

Jeffrey Price shared that his wife, Gloria (Mellot) Price (’67), passed away this September. Charlotte Cox Bergdahl (’67) reflects on Facebook, “A former alumni (63-67) and dear friend, Gloria Mellot Price, entered Glory this past Friday. She had Parkinson’s. I was maid of honor at their wedding in 1968. She and husband Jeff were able to visit us at our home in England once many years ago.”

On Facebook, Helen Martin (’67) shared details for Cliff Bergdahl’s memorial service this Saturday. She writes, “Cliff (Chick ’68) Bergdahl served our Lord in the UK since he graduated The King’s College. He went to be with the Lord last Christmas season.” The memorial service will take place October 23, 2021 at 9:00 AM ET and will be livestreamed. Carol (Benson) Munger (NBC ’69) went home to be with her heavenly Father early Tuesday morning, September 7. Her “Celebration of life” service took place Saturday, September 11, in Miami, FL. David Forsythe (NBC ’73) says, “Dave Conant ’73 passed away on September 24. A memorial service was held October 12, in Alma, Arkansas.”

Nathan Abrams passed away from a rare form of cancer on August 10, 2021. He was son-in-law of Donna Breckenridge (NBC ’79) and his wife Bethany (Breckenridge) Abrams was a student at The King’s College 2004-2005. A GoFundMe has been organized in support of Bethany and their three children.

Andrew Mazzella (’80) and Kathy (Bonner) Mazella share a recent update from their ministry work with Bibles for the World and Samaritan’s Purse.

Tricia Thomas (Elementary Education ’80) says, “This is my fourth year of singing with The National Christian Choir.” The Maryland “Celebrate Christmas” concert is on November 20, 2021, and the Pennsylvania concert is December 11, 2021.

On Facebook, Sharon Mitchell (’83) posted photos of a brochure by Dr. Robert Cook titled, “Practical Help for Busy People.”
