Mia Chiba (’21) is running the NYC Marathon for Make-A-Wish, hoping to raise $4,000 (currently at $1,508). She writes, “It is an honor to be running this year’s TCS New York City Marathon with team Make-A-Wish! In the wake of the pandemic, already isolated kids require greater hope and resilience to face their daily routines. I chose to run with the Make-A-Wish team because of their mission to create life-changing wishes for critically ill children during this unprecedented time. Make-A-Wish has blessed some of my friends facing critical illness and I’d love to give back to the organization that has impacted my community. Please consider supporting this amazing cause! Kai (my 10 yr old brother) has already pledged a dollar for each mile.” Support Mia at her fundraising page here.
