The Board of Trustees at The King’s College is pleased to announce the addition of two Trustees, approved at the Board’s annual meeting on May 4 and 5 on the College’s campus in downtown Manhattan: Mrs. Lisa Troutt and Mr. Nathan Bond.

Troutt is a founding member of the Council for Life as well as One Hundred Shares, and serves on the boards of New Friends New Life, The Salvation Army, Point of View, SMU Meadows School of the Arts, UT Southwestern Medical Foundation, and the Baylor Foundation. She is also affiliated with the The Laura W. Bush Women’s initiative council, Park Cities Republican Women, and The Race Track Chaplaincy of America.

Troutt and her husband, Kenny, use their home to host Christian fundraisers and events. Every October they host the Sanctity of Life event in conjunction with the Council for Life. Chuck Colson was one of their first speakers; recent speakers include John Stonestreet and Eric Metaxas. The Troutts have been married for 23 years and have three children: Preston (22), a junior at the University of Pennsylvania, Grant (20), a freshman at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Savannah (16), a sophomore in high school. They live in Dallas and attend Watermark Church. They also devote time to their Thoroughbred horse farm, Winstar Farm, in Versailles, Kentucky.

Bond is co-founder and CEO of Rifle Paper Co., an international stationery and lifestyle brand based in Winter Park, Florida. Founded in 2009 by Bond and his wife Anna, Rifle Paper Co. is recognized as one-of the fastest growing private companies in America, with more than 150 employees and carried in 5,000 retailers around the world.

As co-founder and CEO, Bond cultivates business relationships and oversees the company’s operations, manufacturing, and finances. Under his leadership, Rifle Paper Co. has forged partnerships with notable brands including Puffin Books, LeSportsac, and Paperless Post, to name a few.

In 2015 Bond was named to Forbes’s 30 Under 30 list of young game changers, movers, and makers. He has also been profiled by Inc. and regularly speaks on business and leadership, including events with Google for Entrepreneurs. Bond is an Orlando native and resides in the area with his wife Anna and their son Ford.

President Gregory Thornbury commented. “We are honored to welcome Mrs. Troutt and Mr. Bond as new trustees of The King’s College. We are deeply grateful for their strong dedication and support and the positive influence they will have on the future of our college.”
