2023 Enrollment is Test Score Optional
Standardized test scores are now optional for students applying for spring 2023 or fall 2023 enrollment, making an education at King’s accessible to students who were unable to take the ACT, CLT, or SAT.
Your Application in Three Parts
The King’s College – New York City is a place for students who feel compelled by God to participate in the restoration of the world. Submitting an application is free and is the best way to start the process of finding out if King’s is right for you.
Your free application to King’s will take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete. We review applications on a rolling basis and you can expect to find out if you’ve been accepted within two to four weeks.
The King’s College accepts transcripts through text, email, mail, fax, and Parchment. You may submit unofficial transcripts to receive an admissions decision.

General Admissions Standards
Our General GPA Admissions Standards are as follows:
- High School GPA of 3.0 or higher
- College GPA of 2.5 or higher (For Transfer Students only)
Students that do not meet these requirements may be asked to complete an entrance interview.
Writing Sample
Submit an essay of your choice that provides a good representation of your academic writing ability. This writing sample can be an essay you have already written for a class. The writing sample should be approximately 1,000 to 2,000 words, an academic-style paper, written for class, and include citations. Please avoid submitting blog posts, journal entries, stream-of-consciousness, and creative writing pieces. Show us your best work! Email your writing sample to us at admissionsoffice@tkc.edu.
Test Scores (optional)
If you wish to submit scores, complete an online request for ACT scores (use school code 2784) or SAT scores (use school code 2871). High schools sometimes include ACT or SAT scores on your transcript. If you have 24 or more college credits, we will not review SAT and ACT scores. Kindly submit a writing sample instead.
Our General Test Score Admissions Standards are as follows:
- 24 or higher in ALL sections of the ACT
- 77 or higher on the CLT
- 570 or higher in Math on the SAT
- 610 or higher in EBRW on the SAT
Students that do not meet these requirements may be asked to complete an entrance interview.
