Test Scores

If you wish to submit scores, complete an online request for ACT scores (use school code 2784) or SAT scores (use school code 2871). High schools sometimes include ACT or SAT scores on your transcript. If you have 24 or more college credits, we will not review SAT and ACT scores. Kindly submit a writing sample instead.

Our General Admissions Standards are as follows:

  • 24 or higher in any single section of the ACT
  • 77 or higher on the CLT

Students that do not meet these requirements may be asked to complete an entrance interview.

Writing Sample

Submit an essay of your choice that provides a good representation of your academic writing ability. This writing sample can be an essay you have already written for a class. The writing sample should be approximately 1,000 to 2,000 words, an academic-style paper, written for class, and include citations. Please avoid submitting blog posts, journal entries, stream-of-consciousness, and creative writing pieces. Show us your best work! Email your writing sample to us at admissionsoffice@tkc.edu.
