Alumni Spotlight: Gary Barnes

| Gary Barnes is heads up Technology and Innovation at Gregorys Coffee, a NYC based coffee company with the mission of seeing coffee differently. His love for ideas led him to study Politics, Philosophy and Economics, but his passion for creating led him to the business of coffee. He has helped Gregorys grow from a local 10-unit cafe chain to a 40-unit company operating multiple concepts in multiple states. Gary bikes to work most days loves drinking sake when he’s not sipping delicious coffee, and is husband to Bethany, father to Poppy and Coral (both of whom have 3 names). Gary and Bethany are currently working to open the first birthing center in Manhattan – Sanctuary – with the hopes of reducing the US maternal mortality rate through community, care, and education. |
