KDS/Passages Israel Scholl Vigil

The King’s Debate Society and Passages Israel invite The King’s College to honor and remember the legacy of Hans and Sophie Scholl, two college-age Nazi resistance leaders in World War II. Dr. Joseph Griffith and Evan Louey-Dacus will speak on the story and impact of the Scholl siblings and their movement called the White Rose. They will also lead readings from resistance pamphlets and a candelight vigil. Dinner at the Heidelberg Restaurant in the UES will be sponsored by Passages Israel after the event. All King’s students are welcome to attend, especially Passages Alumni for their Capstone-required event.
