NYC Philos Chapter Launch: Intro to the Israeli Palestinian Conflict

November 9 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Contact: Rnicholson@tkc.edu

Many of us watched in perplexity and heartbreak in May as rockets littered the sky across Israel and Gaza and renewed efforts by the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement picked up steam. If you found yourself watching the news and longing for the historical context in which it all took place or if you simply want to learn more about the Near East and how Christians should engage it, we are thrilled to invite you to the first-ever NYC Philos Chapter event.

Please join us at 7:00 p.m on November 9th as we hear from the president and founder of the Philos Project and adjunct professor at King’s, Robert Nicholson, on the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and why it matters to Christians in the U.S. This will be an opportunity to enjoy some refreshments, meet other curious and like-minded people, and ask any questions you have. The lecture will be followed by a panel and Q&A session.

Please email Liza@philosproject.org with any questions you have.
