Josh Blander completed his Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), after earning an M.A. in philosophy at Biola University and majoring in political science at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to teaching at King's, he was a Fellow in Medieval Philosophy at Georgetown University; he also previously taught at Loyola Marymount University, UCLA, and Biola. He writes and lectures regularly on medieval philosophy, especially the late medieval metaphysics of William of Ockham and John Duns Scotus, and works on topics in contemporary metaphysics, as well.
Josh was born and raised in rural Pennsylvania and maintains deep, abiding loyalties to Philadelphia sports teams. Since moving from beautiful southern California to New Jersey, he, his wife, and his two children have been wondering where all the fantastic Mexican food went.
