On Faith & Work: Dr. Joshua Hershey

What is the relationship between faith and academic pursuit? Dr. Joshua Hershey says that faith has long motivated scientists to pursue knowledge, and as it did for such minds as Galileo and Newton, the evidence for faith may be sufficient to sustain rational, Christian belief.

At King’s, we often talk about the connection between faith and work. And yet, in the balance of internship, jobs, homework assignments, and class attendance, the relationship can get lost in the mix. Now, finals week is upon us. As we end another semester and wrap up so many aspects of Kingsian life, we hope to remind you that this is hard work worth doing.
