Joshua Kinlaw is Assistant Professor of History and Humanities. He teaches a variety of classes, including Latin and Western Civilization.

After graduating from college, Professor Kinlaw taught at independent schools in Massachusetts, Mexico City, and Qatar. Returning to academia, he studied Greek, Latin, and history at Oxford and St. Andrews before moving to Manhattan for his doctorate.

His research focuses on intellectual life in the Roman Empire. Recent publications focus on Clement of Rome and Ignatius of Antioch.
