Dr. Salyers began his teaching career in 1993, and in 2000 became one of the original faculty members at The King’s College in New York City. A lover of all things Disney, his interests range from immersive entertainment design, creative entrepreneurship and twentieth century popular culture.

He has traveled with King’s students on international excursions around the world, including Turkey, China, Peru, Italy, Greece, France and others, Dr. Salyers also serves as adviser to the House of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and regularly hosts students at his home for barbecues, movies, and other special events.
