Scot Walker (’66) is a member of the Dramatists Guild with dozens of produced plays and is celebrating his 60th year as a published author with hundreds of published short stories, flash fiction, novels, essays, plays, and letters.

Paul Larsen (’71) writes, “In the fall of ’67, I took the very first course Mr. Diehl taught at King’s. 40 years after my erratic journey through TKC (and life), the Lord saw fit to re-introduce Dr. Diehl back into my life by moving his oldest son to a house directly across the street. His grandson became (and still is) my son’s best friend and, hence, we’ve had dozens of opportunities to break bread over the past 15 years. What a fellow. And today’s [November 19, 2019] funeral service was just like the man himself: Understated, yet profound; Deep, yet accessible; Full to the brim with truth, grace and love. Head and heart devoted to his Savior. A life worth emulating.”

Dr. David Diehl’s Memorial Service will take place December 14, 11:00 AM, at Community Bible Church, 301 Chadeayne Rd., Ossining, NY 10562.
