Dr. Christopher Scalia Selected as 2023 Commencement Speaker

Dr. Scalia will address the 2023 graduating class of The King’s College at its 75th annual Commencement Exercises.

The King’s College is pleased to announce that Dr. Christopher Scalia, Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, will address the 2023 graduating class of The King’s College at its 75th annual Commencement Exercises on May 6, 2023 in New York City.

Dr. Scalia began his career as an English professor, specializing in British Literature from the 18th and early 19th-century. He then spent three years as the director of the American Enterprise Institute’s Academic Programs department. Now, he serves as the senior fellow in the Social, Cultural, and Constitutional Studies department at AEI, where he focuses on literature, culture, and higher education. Dr. Scalia’s articles, essays, and reviews have been published in outlets like the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, USA Today, National Review, and First Things. He lives in Virginia with his wife, Adele, and four children.

The 75th annual Commencement Exercises for The King’s College Class of 2023 will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Manhattan’s Gramercy neighborhood. Historically, Commencement speakers are chosen from among the major institutions of culture who have unique insight into the world-renewing mission of The King’s College.
