Fellowship of Christian Athletes Launches NYC Chapters
On Tuesday, April 1, The King’s College Athletics Department hosted an evening for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
On Tuesday, April 1, The King’s College Athletics Department hosted an evening for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Along with President Thornbury, TKC student athletes, and staff, guests from SUNY Marist, Fordham, NYU, the Dwight School, and many community leaders were in attendance. Among the speakers was Dr. Ashley Null, internationally known sports chaplain, author and scholar.
Dr. Null is a three time Olympic chaplain, including time at the 2012 Summer Games. FCA Northeast Regional Director Frank Reynoso and TKC SAAC president Carlos Santos were instrumental in setting up the event.
Since 1954, FCA has impacted thousands of coaches and athletes and is the largest Christian Athletic organization in America.
