In November 2021, The King’s College launched an online alumni networking platform hosted through Graduway, an industry leader for college networking. The new community portal aims to make it easier for alumni to connect with students, staff, faculty, and one another for networking, opportunities, or career advice without having to go through the College directly.

“We have a rich network of alumni from The King’s College and Northeastern Bible College,” said Sophia Coston, executive director of alumni relations. “Alumni have used these college connections to find jobs, start small businesses, grow in their faith, and gain advice on their next steps. With The King’s College Community Portal, we wanted to make it easier for alumni to find others in their network who share interests, industries, or locations in common, even if they’ve never met in person.”

The Community Portal offers an opt-in directory of alumni, with the ability to search by class, industry, major, or location. The portal also features a mentorship program, giving alumni the opportunity to be mentored by other alumni or to offer mentorship to fellow alumni or students. Current students will be invited to the portal in spring 2022.

Additionally, the portal features a job board with current opportunities that can be added by alumni, students, staff, faculty, and strategic partners.

Matt Perman, director of career development, said, “The job board can be searched by industry and job function, making it straightforward for alumni and students to find relevant positions. My hope is that this platform will assist alumni in finding qualified candidates for job openings at their places of work, and that students and alumni will all benefit from greater access to career opportunities within the King’s network.”

The community portal is currently open to alumni, staff, and faculty to create free accounts. All alumni are invited to visit community.tkc.edu to create their accounts and begin using these features to connect and collaborate with other alumni.
