Inspiration for each Interregnum at The King’s College emanates from a central theme—a singular, chosen concept that goes on to define the general message, subject matter, and judging criteria for each competitive event in which the students participate during the three-day event.

King’s has traditionally welcomed a guest speaker to close Interregnum with a speech on the theme, exploring the loftier, academic concepts therein from a uniquely specialized point of view. In a stroke of brilliance, however, this year’s Interregnum Committee scheduled our guest speaker as the opening event.

On Tuesday, April 5 at W83 on the Upper West Side, renowned apologist, author, and social critic Dr. Os Guinness delivered a spellbinding address that both enlightened and galvanized our community, kicking off Interregnum in truly memorable style. He followed his message with a spirited Q & A session.

Below, enjoy photos of Dr. Guinness’s lecture.
