The King’s College is excited to offer a unique, two-week study abroad opportunity with Dr. Anthony Bradley through Stranmillis College of Queens University Belfast. Students will take a course in Peace and Reconciliation, exploring the culture, politics, and religious history of Northern Ireland.
The History, Politics, Culture, and Religion of Northern Ireland
The King’s College is excited to offer a unique, two-week study abroad opportunity with Dr. Anthony Bradley through Stranmillis College of Queens University Belfast. Students will take a course in Peace and Reconciliation, exploring the culture, politics, and religious history of Northern Ireland. Students will learn from Stranmillis faculty and a number of guest speakers, including local historians and politicians; church, police, and community leaders; and journalists, artists, and musicians.
King’s welcomes applications from students attending other colleges who would like to take the course.

Cost: Approximately $2,500 + Airfare + three hours of academic credit (as a HUM, RTS, MCA, or PPE)

NOTE: King’s students may elect to have 3 hours transferred back to King’s as an RTS, PPE, or MCA major elective, or Open elective without additional tuition or fees. The course also fulfills the international study requirement for the International Affairs minor. King’s students in the program will be officially enrolled as students at Queens University Belfast and will receive an official transcript from Queens University acknowledging that they were officially registered as college students in the United Kingdom during the program.
