Europa is The King’s College’s faculty-led summer study abroad program in Europe. Each summer, a small cohort of King’s students (approximately ten) will join faculty for two to six week stays in the great cities of Europe. Past visits include Rome, Florence, and Paris. Students have the opportunity to live among locals in city apartments (rather than campus dormitories or hostels) and are able to enjoy an immersive cultural experience.

For the summer of 2018, King’s students will have the opportunity to head to Berlin and Vienna for three weeks.

Type of Opportunity: Academic, Credit Required

Students are required to take a one-hour preparation course in the spring semester and are expected to enroll in two classes (six hours) during the summer program. Exceptions will be made for graduating seniors who do not need the coursework. Seniors may pay a participation fee, rather than tuition. See the application packet for more details.
