Joy Stewart serves as Assistant Director of Admissions at The King’s College. As a regional recruiter for the southeast region of the United States she is responsible for undergraduate enrollment for Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
Prior to joining King’s, she spent six years in higher education serving students from all walks of life and their families holding positions in both Admissions and Student Services. Her compassion for people and making connections has led her to find purpose in Christ-centered education. She truly believes in providing resources, encouragement and support to create an environment for students to fulfill their dream of having a college education.
Outside of work, Joy enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as intertwining her love of God and music. She is a partner of Watson Grove Missionary Baptist Church located in Nashville, TN where she is an active part of the Music Ministry and volunteers as a mentor to teenage girls. She lives vicariously through her own life’s motto of: Living life every day simply trying to be a “Joy” to the world.
Joy serves students from the Alabama, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
