The King's College
80th Anniversary Banner

Dear Alumni,

Any great venture is only as strong as the community around it—and the backbone of the The King’s College community is its alumni. Your prayers, support, and work in the world encourage our faculty and staff and inspire current students. As in any family, we want to hear from you and stay in touch!

Reconnect with old friends and continue to build our community by taking advantage of the events and services listed below. You can also connect with a member of The King’s College Alumni Executive Committee by emailing a decade representative below! If there is anything we can do for you, please reach out.

Sincerely,

Chris Ross
President, Alumni Executive Committee

Alumni Executive Committee

The Object and General Purpose of The King’s College Alumni Association is:

  • To cultivate a vibrant community among alumni of The King’s College
  • To promote a continuing alumni interest in the welfare of the College and to strengthen the relationship between the alumni and College communities
  • To serve as a liaison between the alumni community and the leaders of the College
  • To assist in communicating important news and events to alumni
  • To recognize excellence among the College’s alumni by conferring annual awards at Homecoming

The Executive Committee of the Alumni Association meets four times each year to achieve these goals. Any person who attended The King’s College for at least two semesters is a member of the Alumni Association and may seek election to the Executive Committee.

Please note that several positions are up for election to the Alumni Executive Committee: Rick Millham and Sarah Ferrara are running for president, Chris Ross will be a candidate for secretary, and Lynn Mitchell will run for representative.

The Alumni Association Executive Committee is also proposing amendments to its constitution and bylaws to improve the committee’s operations and to account for changes that have occurred at King’s since we adopted these documents. Please review the proposed amendments in preparation for voting at Homecoming on October 27, 2018, and contact President Chris Ross with any questions.

Visit the College

All alumni are welcome and encouraged to visit our downtown campus. Since we have security desks at both entrances to the campus, here is what you need to know if you are planning to stop by, so that you can come say hello!

For overnight visitors, we recommend the Holiday Inn Manhattan—Financial District. It is a five-minute walk from campus. Book here to take advantage of the College’s discount.

At the main 56 Broadway entrance

Show your government-issued photo ID to the security guard. The guard will check your name and grant access to the lobby. If you are going to the fifth floor, press the guest buzzer at the fifth floor entrance and Student Services will buzz you in. If you are going to the sixth floor, the guard will notify Student Services when he grants lobby access. When you reach the sixth floor, please check in at the Student Services desk before proceeding with the purpose of your visit.

At the O’Keeffe Student Union entrance

Show your government-issued photo ID to the security guard. The guard will check your name and grant access, and you are free to use the space according to its intended purposes. If you later want to visit the rest of the campus upstairs, walk up Exchange Place to the 56 Broadway entrance and sign in following the same instructions as above.

Order a Transcript

The King’s College partners with the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide transcript and degree verifications. The Registrar’s Office issues transcripts with the Registrar’s signature and the College’s seal, printed on College letterhead and sent securely whether online or through the mail.

To order a transcript, go to the National Student Clearinghouse site and select the appropriate campus from the dropdown menu: The King’s College, The King’s College at Briarcliff Manor, or Northeastern Bible College. All transcripts cost $5.00 plus delivery fees. Orders are processed in 2-3 business days—updates and ability to check your order history are included.

Degree and enrollment verifications for students and alumni of King’s and of NBC are also processed by NSC. Questions should be directed to registrar@tkc.edu or to the Registrar’s Office at 212.659.7200, ext. 3718.
