Terrorism, Innes observes, has three goals: “mass killing, paralyzing a population with fear (i.e., terror), and softening a people to the terrorist group’s demands.” On all three counts, Innes writes, the terrorists failed.

Every year, bright prospective students from all over the nation visit The King’s College to take part in the Founders’ Scholarship Competition. The Founders’ Scholarship is extremely competitive, and includes a written essay portion and an oral presentation. Four winners receive full ride scholarships to The King’s College.

NEW YORK -- September 3, 2013 -- As many as four talented high school seniors will be awarded Founders' Scholarships in 2014 and given the opportunity to study at The King's College tuition-free. Beginning today, the competition will be used to seek students who meet the rigorous academic standards of the college and who demonstrate exceptional speaking, writing, and leadership prowess.
