Leigh Bortins, founder and CEO of Classical Conversations, will deliver a lecture on March 7 entitled “Mothers and Money: Building Businesses with Babies.”

God has desired us, chosen us, and made a covenant with us. Through the sacrifice of Christ, He has ensured that our “house” is “right” with him and will be for eternity. When we acknowledge our dependence on Him, there is no need to question or try to “fake” our status.

Janet On Anderson (’69) joyously welcomed her third grandchild on June 9, and Rebecca Sears (PPE ’13) was awarded a yearlong Public Policy Fellowship with The Fund for American Studies.

Birth is a violent act causing trauma for both mother and child. It does not come without pain and yet it is a pain that women like Hannah long for with a desperation that makes them forgot about social convention and respectability while they pour out their soul before God.
In Memoriam: Presidential Fellow Dr. Herb London
Dr. Herb London, presidential scholar at The King’s College, passed away at the age of 79 on November 10, surrounded by his family.
Empire State Tribune Receives Awards for Outstanding Journalism
The King’s College congratulates the Empire State Tribune, the independent student-run news publication at King’s, for winning several Pinnacle Awards from the College Media Association.

With a vision to blend the absurd with the profound, The King’s Players presented an inventive, modern interpretation of Samuel Beckett’s 1949 classic ‘Waiting for Godot’ on October 26 and 27.
80th Anniversary Homecoming Highlights
Alumni from the last six decades attended, with a large contingent of 1978 alumni celebrating 40 years since graduation.
