King’s Adopts Statement on Academic Freedom
The new statement supports the freedom of all members of the College community “to discuss any problem that presents itself” and is modeled on the University of Chicago’s 2015 Report of the Committee on Freedom of Expression.
Dr. John Welch Named Dunn Liberty Fellow at The King’s College
Dr. Welch’s expertise in economics ranges from the NYC finance world to global endeavors such as the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce. He will teach two courses in economics this fall: Money & Banking and Economic Policy.

Dr. Joseph Loconte Accepts Position at The Heritage Foundation
Dr. Joseph Loconte has accepted a position as Director of the B. Kenneth Simon Center for American Studies at The Heritage Foundation.
Prof. Paul Glader and Alum Wes Parnell Accepted to Fulbright Programs
Journalism professor Paul Glader was approved for a Fulbright Specialist three-year term and Wesley Parnell (PPE ’19) was accepted to the competitive one-week Berlin Capital Program.
