On Wednesday, May 8th, friends of The King’s College met in Palm Beach, FL to confer honorary doctorates to Richard and Helen DeVos. The evening also celebrated the recent addition of the DeVoses to the Board of Trustees of The King’s College.

The King’s Debate Society has elected rising junior John Sailer the fourth president.

Leah Contreras, a senior from Ossining, NY, was recently selected as a Founders’ Scholar. When asked what helped her succeed, Contreras said she thought that important to a winning presentation is originality, articulation, and confidence.

Real Influence
Last week, King’s students elected a new Student Body President. Peter Flemming, a junior majoring in Business, will serve as president for the 2013-14 academic year.
