Introducing 2016-17 Founders Scholarship Winners
Each year, prospective students at The King’s College are invited to compete for one of four full-tuition scholarships by writing an essay in response to a prompt that encourages students to engage with the mission of The King’s College, and by traveling to the College to give a presentation based on their essays.
King’s High School Summer Academy Whets Intellectual Appetites
The 2017 Summer Academy runs July 23-28 and is now accepting applications on a rolling basis, with deposits due by May 15, 2017.
King’s Debate Society Hosts Sixth Annual Tournament
On March 25 and 26, the King’s Debate Society hosted its sixth annual Empire Debates. The Empire Debates tournament has developed a reputation among World’s format debaters in the region as a smoothly executed, competitive tournament with quality judges and motions. This year’s event was no exception, attracting over 100 debaters and 40 judges from 19 institutions.

King’s Debate Faces Snowstorms and Ivy Leagues at Cornell Tournament
The King’s Debate Society kicked off the Spring semester with one of the society’s most successful performances, competing upstate against nearly 100 teams at Cornell University.
Through its commitment to the truths of Christianity and a biblical worldview, The King’s College seeks to transform society by preparing students for careers in which they help to shape and eventually lead strategic public and private institutions, and by supporting faculty members as they directly engage culture through writing and speaking publicly on critical issues.
