Korean Students Visit The King’s College
On Wednesday, February 12, a group of 19 students from Handong Global University in Pohang, Korea visited The King’s College as a part of a trip to international organizations and research institutes in the United States.
Price Harding Joins as Trustee
The Board of Trustees of The King’s College is pleased to announce the addition of Price Harding as a new member of the Board. Price Harding was elected at the Board’s annual meeting on October 16. He is the Founding Partner of CarterBaldwin Executive Search, one of the forty largest Executive Search firms in the U.S., based in Atlanta, Georgia.
New Presidential Scholar to Speak at IAM Conference
Recently announced Presidential Scholar and Art Historian in Residence Daniel A. Siedell will deliver the final plenary lecture at INHABIT: Art in Space & Time, a conference held by International Arts Movement. The three-day conference brings artists, cultural critics, and thinkers together from around the world for exhibitions, lectures, panel-discussions, juried art and writing contests.

The King’s College Offers Major in Finance
Beginning in September 2013, The King’s College will give students an honors-level opportunity to major in finance. The new degree program will combine the College’s academically rigorous education and biblical worldview with its location near the New York Stock Exchange and connections with those who work on Wall Street.

Gregory Alan Thornbury Named as Sixth President
The Board of Trustees of The King’s College is pleased to announce the appointment of Gregory Alan Thornbury, Ph.D. as its sixth president. Thornbury, with an academic background in philosophy and Christian ministry, has spent his career in higher education, where he has pursued entrepreneurial roles and maintained a passionate commitment to the arts.
The 2013 Senior Address
On Saturday, May 11th, The King’s College held its annual Commencement exercises to honor the graduation of the class of 2013. The Honorable Allen West, a well decorated war veteran and former U.S. representative from Florida’s 22nd district, delivered the keynote address.
Through its commitment to the truths of Christianity and a biblical worldview, The King’s College seeks to transform society by preparing students for careers in which they help to shape and eventually lead strategic public and private institutions, and by supporting faculty members as they directly engage culture through writing and speaking publicly on critical issues.
